Zinc vases have a lot of special properties that make them perfectly suited for gardening or displaying fresh plants and flowers. They're extremely light weight (unlike stone or ceramic pots or planters), they're sturdier and more eco-friendly than plastic garden pots and planters, and they're water-resistant and corrosion resistant, meaning that zinc planters can last you a long time.
There are so many fantastic ways of decorating our wood box planters to turn them into handsome centerpieces for rustic, country-side, or farmhouse themed weddings. The unifnished texture of the wood, the ease of use, the removable zinc liners, and the variety of shapes and sizes (rectangle planters, cube box planters, and cylinder birch vases) should help to inspire the imagination.
Growing things and bringing bright colors into the world is a uniquely meditative hobby. Gardeners often find, not just peace, but a great sense of love and fulfillment in planting and caring for plants and flowers. Some studies even suggest that gardening can reduce stress better than other types of leisue activities. We haven't posted much about birch bark wrapped zinc pots and vases before, so it was nice to bring them back into the spotlight this past week. After all, there is something so satisfyingly stylistic about these particular zinc vases.
