Whatever you decide to for your spooky holiday weekend, whether it's pigging out with your friends at a party, stealing candy from your kids, or binge-watching all of Stranger Things season 2, Vase Market wishes you a safe and happy Halloween!
What Are Your Plans for Halloween?
Well, if you don't have a whole lot of ideas, we can recommend a few new, cool, and #spoopy stuff to try out this holiday season.
DIY Candy Slime
We've always been a bit obsessed with all the different ways to celebrate with candy buffets. But now there's something new to add to your Halloween candy table that can serve as a wicked fun potion-making project for your family. Going viral this year is an amazing colorful YouTube sensation that goes by the name of Karina Garcia. The kids are going wild over her plethora of video tutorials on how to make slime. Spice up your candy buffet table with a glass cauldron filled with this sparkling, gooey, edible starburst candy slime!
Halloween Movie Viewing Party
Find a movie theater or settle in for a night of streaming Netflix or Amazon Video asap, 'cause word is going around that 2017 is probably one of the better years for new horror movies in a long time. Time magazine has a list of the best movies to watch for Halloween right now, and the list is nicely well-rounded with family films, classic horrors, and newer movies released this year. But if you and your fam are in it for the long haul, challenge your nerd-culture commitments with an over-night marathon of Stranger Things.
Try This Spooky Cocktail Recipe

While your kids are busy making edible putty and your teens are occupied with popcorn and silver-screens, gather your of-age friends around the kitchen for some Halloween themed cocktails, like this Midori green and vodka mix, also known as a Frankenstein. It's a simple recipe:
1 oz Midori
0.5 oz Vodka
Ginger
Lemon juice
Blueberry sugar
There's nothing that maximizes the chill of a party like chilling ghost stories and ghoulish cocktails.
